The Producer's Report #153 | Moving Forward Again!

The edit system is working again! I've output uncompressed AVI files for Barry Gregg and will be meeting him at Starbucks in Edmonds (Washington, USA) in a couple hours to hand him a 2TB hard drive with the movie, Spiral's Blackmagic Design Ultrascope, and our best wishes for a efficient and fun color correction. Yeah! Big step.
Getting that edit system repaired (again) was frustrating and time…

Dang nab it. We were chugging along and then crash. The little battery on the edit system motherboard needed replacing, so I replaced it. But in the process of removing and replacing the Blackmagic card to gain access and replace the little battery, the card was fried. So dang. We have a replacement Blackmagic card on order. It should be here…

As for the Nalardian eyes... I, uh... don't actually remember doing that. The last thing I remember was opening Photoshop, and then suddenly I was looking at that picture of me up on my profile. Hmm...
Anyway, thanks for the Arizona! It's all I wanted for Christmas this year. Because I already have two front teeth. For the time being.

Phil, I am not a musician. I did some sound effects for theatre pieces. I've been following the Open Movie projects at Blender with the kind of depressing feeling of "Where was I, when all this was created?". The new project there brought my attention back to Project London, which I saw for the first time earlier last year.
Thanks for the feedback, I figured as much I just have yet to attempt it. =P
I see you fellows at Project London using Blender + AfterEffects all the time... I have used After Effects before and I love it yet I personally have Sony Vegas Pro 10.0 . I have never tried before but do you know if I could use Vegas with my Blender abilities?
