This has been the number one question coming at us for some time now. I am very pleased to report that a RELEASE ANNOUNCEMENT is coming within days. It's been awhile since we talked. Sorry about that. We've been immensely busy, dealing with crashed edit systems and laptops, ramping up color correction and the final work on the soundtrack. And today, I'm really pleased to say that we are making great progress to finish the movie!

The edit system is working again! I've output uncompressed AVI files for Barry Gregg and will be meeting him at Starbucks in Edmonds (Washington, USA) in a couple hours to hand him a 2TB hard drive with the movie, Spiral's Blackmagic Design Ultrascope, and our best wishes for a efficient and fun color correction. Yeah! Big step.

Getting that edit system repaired (again) was frustrating and time…

Dang nab it. We were chugging along and then crash. The little battery on the edit system motherboard needed replacing, so I replaced it. But in the process of removing and replacing the Blackmagic card to gain access and replace the little battery, the card was fried. So dang. We have a replacement Blackmagic card on order. Yesterday morning's Sound Design Review Meeting was FANTASTIC! Scott Burnett, soundtrack/score producer, was in attendance along with Wesley Slover, musician/artist.
